Sealproof one-gang weatherproof outlet boxes are the die-cast aluminum boxes electricians reach for when a receptacle, switch or photocell has to live outdoors. Each box is powder-coated, ships with closure plugs and a gasket, and carries threaded hubs in 1/2" or 3/4" trade size so it accepts rigid, IMC, EMT (with adapters) or liquid-tight fittings without extra parts.
Boxes are available with three, four or five hubs in gray, white and bronze to match the cover. Pair them with a Sealproof flat, blank or extra-duty while-in-use cover and a gasket for a complete NEC 406.9 compliant outdoor device assembly. All boxes are cULus Listed for wet locations.

What is the difference between a 3-hole and 5-hole outlet box?
The number tells you how many threaded conduit entries the box has. A 3-hole box has one hub on each side and one on the bottom; a 5-hole box adds two more on the back or top so you can run conduit in several directions. Unused hubs are closed with the plugs supplied.
Which cover fits a one-gang box?
Any Sealproof one-gang cover: flat device covers, blank covers, and one-gang extra-duty while-in-use covers all bolt to the standard one-gang screw pattern with the gasket in between.
Can I use these boxes in a wet location?
Yes. They are cULus Listed for wet locations when installed with a listed weatherproof cover and gasket and with the unused hubs plugged.
